The Snap-on MODIS Edge is a combination full-function scan tool and scope/graphing meter with a five-second boot-up and the new Instant ID feature that automatically reads the VIN upon connection to the vehicle. The 9’ lighted OBD cable assists connecting to vehicles, and the SMX operating system and quick links provide access to common procedures, such as oil specs and service interval resets. The 8” color touchscreen and four-way thumb pad allows for quick navigation. The Vehicle System Report, for 2008 and newer vehicles, displays a complete view of diagnostic results.
